Open Roles

How vacancies are advertised, and what to do if none fit yet.

This page explains how SgurrEnergy advertises open roles across its renewable energy advisory and engineering disciplines. Current vacancies are posted as they arise, spanning resource and yield, grid and power systems, engineering design, technical due diligence, environmental and social advisory, inspections and asset performance. Where no current opening matches a candidate's background, the page invites them to register their interest via the contact channel for consideration against future roles.

01

How Roles Are Advertised

When a role opens, it is posted with the details that matter: the discipline, the seniority, the location and the kind of projects the successful candidate will work on. We aim to describe scope honestly so you can judge fit before applying.

Vacancies are driven by genuine project need rather than speculative pipeline-building, so the roles you see are ones we are actively recruiting for. If you do not see a current posting in your area, that does not mean we will not be hiring for it soon; it means there is no live vacancy to apply to right now.

To avoid setting false expectations, we do not list illustrative or placeholder roles on this page. Live postings, when present, are the only roles we are recruiting for.

02

Disciplines We Recruit Across

When we are hiring, roles typically fall into these areas.

  • Resource assessment and energy yield, including wind and solar resource and yield analysis.
  • Grid and power systems, including connection, load-flow, stability and grid-code compliance studies.
  • Engineering and design across civil, structural, electrical and owner's engineering.
  • Technical advisory and due diligence for developers, investors and lenders.
  • Environmental and social advisory, inspections and quality assurance, and asset performance.
03

If Nothing Matches Today

A speculative registration of interest is genuinely useful to us.

  • Tell us your discipline, experience level and the technologies and regions you are interested in.
  • Share a current CV so we can match you against roles as they open.
  • We keep relevant details on file and review them when new vacancies arise.
  • Use our contact channel to register; we do not ask you to apply to a role that does not exist.
